Gradwell & 3CX: The Partner Opportunity Webinar

On Wednesday 19th May, our partner team were joined by Paul Clarke (UK Channel Manager, 3CX) to present the latest version of their platform, selling 3CX through Gradwell and how to deliver an end-to-end solution with our combined offerings.

Suitable for existing Gradwell & 3CX partners, the on-demand recording can be accessed below:

3CX Version 18 overview

Paul Clarke talked us through the release of 3CX’s version 18. In his words, 3CX is growing into a “full-blown omnichannel communication system” and all 3CX license editions – Standard, Professional and Enterprise – will benefit from Version 18’s new feature releases. These include: audit log, single sign on for WebClient and Management Console, Microsoft 365 user syncing and help desk solutions.

Video conferencing

Designed to improve both audio and video meetings, Paul talked us through the setting and feature updates to 3CX’s video conferencing. The WebMeeting portal will now be hosted on the customer’s 3CX instance, and all meeting data will be stored locally and confidentially. Click2call and Click2meet URLs will be unified, making joining meetings much easier. Dial in capacity and capability has been vastly improved.

The following new features were also highlighted:
  • Ability to turn off and lock video, audio or chat of all participants with one click
  • Ability to lock the meeting and disallow new entrants
  • Presenting from a secondary camera – helpful in auditorium broadcast or a document camera
  • Invite peers to your meeting via email, direct link, QR code or WhatsApp

Our service offering & hardware

The webinar also covered our combined Gradwell & 3CX service offering, enabling partners to deliver an end-to-end communication solution to their customers. In addition to technical support, our partner portal makes promoting and selling our products – including 3CX – easier and offers quoting, ordering, billing and provisioning support to our partners. On the platform, you can also access our collateral, porting services, number provisioning, SIP Trunks, hardware and hosting as well as being able to buy 3CX licenses.

We have a range of recommended handsets and hardware compatible with 3CX, from vendors such as Poly, Yealink, Gigaset and Fanvil.

And that’s a wrap… until next time! We’d like to say a big thank you to our partners for attending, and to Paul Clarke for presenting with us.
