Press Release: Gradwell complete Grapevine Connect acquisition

Bath, UK, 9th October 2024.

Gradwell Communications Limited (“Gradwell”) – a leading UK-based provider of telecommunication services – are delighted to announce the acquisition of Exeter-based 3CX reseller Grapevine Connect Limited (“Grapevine”).

Grapevine was founded in 2016 by Martin Cox, and has built an extensive client base both in the South West and across the UK whilst delivering year-on-year growth. Grapevine earned 3CX Platinum Partner status in 2018 and are rated ‘Excellent’ by their customers, demonstrating a strong alignment with Gradwell’s values.

This acquisition expands the group’s customer base, enabling Gradwell to provide Grapevine customers with an enhanced suite of services in addition to market-leading customer support. In time, the Grapevine brand will be retired, and all customers will be migrated to Gradwell. Grapevine was already a Gradwell partner, with Gradwell having recently taken over the support of Grapevine customers while the founders established their new venture. Grapevine is Gradwell’s second acquisition in recent years, following the addition of The Technology Group (TTG) in 2021.

Jamie Ward, CEO of Gradwell, stated, “We are delighted to bring Grapevine Connect into the Gradwell group, and this will be the first of several M&A activities for us in the near future. We have admired the business for some time as there is excellent alignment in terms of values, market expertise and 3CX capabilities. As Grapevine were already a partner, we expect a smooth transition and integration for the customer base and look forward to working with the Grapevine team”.

Martin Cox, Founder of Grapevine Connect said “Gradwell have been a strategic partner of ours for several years, and over the last few months they have done a great job in supporting our customer base. We feel very confident that Gradwell is the right home for our customers.”
