This month we have released three new features based on suggestions posted on our feedback system. We have now introduced caller ID based routing, calendar based routing and PIN access control to help make your phone system work the way you need it to.

Caller ID based routing

This feature allows you to route or reject calls based on the caller’s phone number. It allows you to create simple rules that give you full control of where calls are directed to within your company.

Calendar based routing

This feature allow you to specify how you want your calls to be routed based on the date. They are more suitable than hunt groups for this task, because whereas hunt groups route based on time of day, calendar call rules allow you to route calls based on the specific date.

PIN access control

This feature allows you to only route callers who can enter a valid PIN code.

You can use these controls at the start of your phone system, such as when as a caller dials your external phone number. Alternatively you can apply a PIN access control after they’ve reached a certain part of your phone system, for example after selecting a specific option from a voice menu.

Menu changes

With the new increasing feature set on our VoIP services, the control panel menu was getting very crowded. Because of this we have made a few changes to the layout and descriptions on your control panel menu to make it easier for you to navigate and find exactly what you’re looking for.
