Crisis is the UK’s national year-round charity helping single homeless people with life-changing support and advice about employment, education, creative arts, housing, health and well-being, amongst many other important innovative educational activities that are structured to help end homelessness and get people back on track.

Christmas can be an unusually trying time of the year for people currently experiencing homelessness. Every year, Crisis runs its Crisis at Christmas campaign, placing extra emphasis on targeted donations and working with its approximately 10,000 volunteers across its UK centres to provide a warm, secure place for homeless people to get advice, eat a hot meal, get shelter, connect with others and have a bit of fun during the holiday period.  Several thousand homeless and vulnerable housed people are supported every year and this year Crisis at Christmas runs from the 22nd – 30th December.

Crisis cannot do all of this alone and in addition to its staff, volunteers and donors, collaborates with around 100 businesses to help deliver the 40 different services offered during Christmas period. In cooperation with Aimar Foundation, Gradwell is pleased to back the 2014 campaign for the third year in a row by donating internet telephony services to help Crisis with much needed telecommunications essentials including DDIs, conference room and fax to email services. Gradwell is proud to support an initiative that makes such a difference in the lives of those who need just a little bit more help.
