A IP address is the number used to identify the location that your computer is connected to the internet. A static IP address means this number never changes, no matter where you’re connecting from. You will need a static IP address if you want to: – Host a website – Run a FTTP server – Host online gaming

Leased Lines FAQ's

If you aren’t sure what package or speed you’d like, just give us a call and we will be happy to calculate this for you. We take in to account things like the number of employees you have and the internal needs.

Yes! Provided you have space on the bearer line, our team will be able to arrange for the bandwidth to be increased!
A leased line is a dedicated, uncontended connection that is only used by your business. A broadband connection is shared with other people and can be affected by high volumes of traffic on the network which causes a drop in performance at peak times.

As you aren’t sharing the line with anyone else, it is considered uncontended. This means the only traffic on the line is from your business, unlike a broadband connection where the line is shared with neighbouring homes and businesses. This allows a consistent and totally reliable speed 24/7 as there is nothing to interrupt the speed.

We are! As registered supplier on the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS) we are able to offer a range of connectivity option that qualify for the £2,500 government grant.
