You can, simply give our sales team a call and we will be happy to help. We also offer a free phone with all of our voice packages!
How long has Gradwell been running?

What services do you offer?
We offer a range of cloud-based phone services and data packages, including broadband and leased line. We also sell a range of hardware to fit all out business needs.
Do you own your VoIP network?
We do! Currently we have over 22,000 customers connected to our Opensource telephony services and this is growing every day. We are also a 3CX Global Solutions Provider.
Where are your offices based?

Cloud calling FAQ's

What’s the difference between a cloud-based phone system and my current onsite PBX?
A cloud phone system is based in a data centre, with calls being delivered into your office via an internet connection. This removes the need for a local PBX on site, which helps to offer business’ additional flexibility.
How do I set up additional users for my business?
Simply give our team a call on 01225 800800 and they can set up extra users in a matter of minutes.
Can I transfer my existing business number to Gradwell?
As long as we have a porting agreement in place with your current provider, we will be able to move over your current telephone numbers. Our experienced team will complete the necessary porting documentation and manage the order through to completion.
Can you help with residential numbers and lines?
Sorry! We currently only supply voice and data services to businesses and partners.
Can I make and receive calls on my mobile phone?
With many of our voice services you will have access a ‘soft phone’ which is an app installed on your mobile phone. This will allow you to access all the features from your office phone and make calls from your office number.
Can your cloud phone system support multiple sites?
Provided each of your sites has an internet connection, you will be able to utilise our cloud phone system across your business premises.

3CX FAQ's

What’s the difference between a 3CX phone system and my current on site PBX?
3CX is primarily deployed as a cloud managed service in a data centre, rather than as a physical on-site PBX. This removes the risk of any expensive repairs, offers a range of extra features and there is no need for any maintenance contracts.
How is 3CX different to other phone systems?
3CX is an open-source phone system with a user friendly management interface, which can be easily adapted for a diverse set of business needs.
How do I set up additional lines for my business?

SIP Trunks FAQ's

How does high volume SIP differ from the normal SIP Trunks?
High-volume SIP Trunks run on a separate dedicated platform built for high volumes of traffic and CAPS. This allows you to use the volumes you want without any issues.
How long will porting my number take?
Porting numbers can take up to two weeks depending on how many you have! We will request it as soon as possible and inform you when your number has been ported.
How quickly can I scale up my SIP Trunk?

Is there a limit on how many phone numbers I can have? 
 Not at all! You can have as many as you like from as many locations as you want.

A IP address is the number used to identify the location that your computer is connected to the internet. A static IP address means this number never changes, no matter where you’re connecting from. You will need a static IP address if you want to: - Host a website - Run a FTTP server - Host online gaming

There are a range of factors that affect broadband speeds. The distance between property and exchange for an ADSL connection is a very as this is the distant the data must travel to reach you. Other factors like contention and the quality of the line can also slow down the speeds you receive.

Leased Lines FAQ's

How do I know what speeds I need?
If you aren’t sure what package or speed you’d like, just give us a call and we will be happy to calculate this for you. We take in to account things like the number of employees you have and the internal needs.
How fast is a leased line connection?
How fast do you need it to be? Leased lines start from around 10Mbps connections and scale all the way up to 10Gbps! Speak to our team who will be happy to discuss your requirements and provide a suitable quotation.
Can I increase my speed in the future?
Yes! Provided you have space on the bearer line, our team will be able to arrange for the bandwidth to be increased!
What’s the difference between a leased line and a broadband connection?
A leased line is a dedicated, uncontended connection that is only used by your business. A broadband connection is shared with other people and can be affected by high volumes of traffic on the network which causes a drop in performance at peak times.
How are the speeds for a leased line guaranteed?
As you aren’t sharing the line with anyone else, it is considered uncontended. This means the only traffic on the line is from your business, unlike a broadband connection where the line is shared with neighbouring homes and businesses. This allows a consistent and totally reliable speed 24/7 as there is nothing to interrupt the speed.
Are Gradwell part of the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme?
We are! As registered supplier on the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme (GBVS) we are able to offer a range of connectivity option that qualify for the £2,500 government grant.
