Internet services provider Gradwell has yet again been ranked as one of the fastest growing companies on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 list, with a growth rate of 652% during the past five years.
The company, founded by managing director Peter Gradwell, came second in the South West and Wales regional rankings and 50th in the national list.
In addition, Gradwell was recognised as one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Gradwell provides flexible Internet services and communications solutions to small UK businesses and was founded by Peter in 1998, whilst he was studying at university. The company offers Internet telephony, business broadband, web hosting, email management and as of this month, Gradwell Mobile, which is perfect for sole traders to use their mobile phone as a landline and removes the need for businesses to hold separate mobile and landline numbers.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 EMEA awards, based upon percentage revenue growth over a five year period, are industry scales to recognise business achievement and build upon the winners’ reputation as successful, growing technology companies.
Peter Gradwell, Managing Director and founder of Gradwell, said: “We’re ecstatic to have been ranked on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list again for a third time (previously in 2005 and 2009), particularly as we’re also second in the South West and Wales region. Being named on the Fast 500 EMEA rankings is another fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work we have carried out since the company was founded 12 years ago.
“The ranking demonstrates that our revenue has grown significantly during the past five years, which is due to a greater emphasis on product innovation and offering more services to our existing and potential customers, such as the recent launch of Gradwell Mobile.”
Peter and his team will collect their awards on 25th November at a ceremony held at Arsenal Football Club (Emirates Stadium) in London.
