Email Delivery

No matter what type of mailbox you purchase, your email is delivered in the same way.

• Incoming email comes in from the Internet through our load balancers.
• The load balancers forward email on to our pool of SMTP servers.
• All incoming email is scanned for viruses and then filtered for spam.
• Email is then delivered to:
  • your Email Standard mailbox, Advanced or Premier mailbox on our mail fileservers,
  • or to your Exchange Advanced or Exchange Premier mailbox,
  • or your Zimbra Advanced or Zimbra Premier mailbox,
  • or out to a remote mailbox via the Internet (e.g. a Gmail account) if you have setup a mail forwarding rule.
