Technical Information Regarding your Broadband Service

Our broadband service is built on the Tiscali Wholesale LLU product, with specific service level quarantees built into the network to guarantee you bandwidth and low latency all the way from the DSLAM in the exchange, through to our core VoIP servers.

Gradwell broadband is ideal for up to 10 concurrent VoIP calls without any heavy data activity. For more than 5 users, we recommend a separate broadband line for VoIP.

Signing up to Gradwell broadband doesn't just get you great speeds and an ideal VoIP line, you also get service level commitment.

If you find yourself with a problem on your line we pledge to respond to your problem and escalate it to our line suppliers within 2 hours, during our normal support desk hours.

This service is also backed by BT and Tiscali Enhanced Care, giving us a 4 hour response time, with a view to resolve your problem within 24 hour” (subject to customers subscribing to our Advanced or Premium broadband package).

Standard broadband customers have a monthly 20GB allowance.

Additionally, we do not operate a policy of managing traffic and traffic types on our broadband network, except to prioritise our Internet telephony traffic where possible, and to prioritise these premium broadband lines across our UK providers core network, above normal business and residential lines. Many other ISPs introduce packet shaping and other measures to limit the available bandwidth so you do not experience your full broadband potential.

We offer public and static IP's available in blocks of 1,8 and 16 for no extra charge, customers can change between these in their Control Panel - for larger blocks of 32/64 IP's a small administration fee is required.
