How to upgrade your Grandstream GXP-2000/GXP-2020 firmware |

Basic configurationLog in to your Grandstream device by entering the phone’s IP address into your chosen web browser. You will find the address on the screen of the phone. This should give you a password login screen.
Enter your password (‘admin’ by default) and press login. Scroll down to the section entitled Firmware Upgrade and Provisioning.
The Upgrade Via option should be switched from TFTP to HTTP. The Firmware Server Path should be set to 72.172.83.110, once this has been done, please click the update button at the bottom of the screen. You will now be prompted to reboot the phone, click on the reboot button.
The phone may reboot and repeat this procedure a few times, depending on the age of the existing firmware loaded onto the device. |
