How to use the Gradwell One softphone call panel |

Getting startedThe Gradwell One softphone has a powerful call panel that will appear whenever a call is made or received. This allows the user to easily manage the call using just their mouse. Services available during a callWhen a call is received, the user is alerted and if available the identity of the calling party is shown. The user has the option to accept or reject a call, and once they do the following call services icons are displayed:
Enables a keypad to allow you to send tones to active calls, for example to use touch tone menus.
Activates call recording. To listen to the call later, select the Tools menu and Inbox.
Use to transfer the call to another user. Once this is pressed, the other party are put on hold. To transfer the call, navigate to the Contacts tab, select another user and press the transfer icon in the top right corner of their record.
Press to add the caller to a conference call.
Pressing this will place the call in the personal queue, and the caller notified that they have been placed in a queue. If another user has sufficient permission, they can pick up the parked call. To pick up a parked call, select the Active Calls tab and press the Pick Up Call icon in the right hand corner.
Places the caller on hold. They will hear a recorded message to inform them that they are on hold. Click the resume button to continue speaking to the caller.
This allows the call to be transferred to another device, for example a mobile phone, that is registered on the user's account. Select the device from the drop down menu and click the transfer button. |
