How to configure Outlook Express to use your SMTP relay |

Getting StartedIn order to use the SMTP Outbound service you need to make changes to your email software configuration, this guide discusses how to make changes to Outlook Express. Basic ConfigurationSelect the Tools menu in Outlook Express followed by the Accounts option.
In the Internet Accounts popup box, select the Mail tab at the top of the window, next click the email account you wish to modify so it becomes highlighted. Finally, click Properties on the right hand side of the window.
Click on the Servers tab, you now need to make the following changes
Now click on the Settings button.
Select the radio button Log on using, and enter the username and password you chose during the account signup (these details are also confirmed in your welcome email).
Next, click on the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) port to 225.
Finally click on Apply, followed by OK then Close. You have now configured Outlook Express to send your email via our servers. |
