12 Days of Gradwell Terms and Conditions

1.1 Entry into the promotion described below is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions in full.
2. Participating in The 12 Days of Gradwell Christmas Promotion
2.1. To participate in the 12 Days of Gradwell Christmas promotion you must be using a computer or mobile device that has a connection to the Internet and a modern browser with Javascript enabled.
2.2. Only one code can be redeemed per person. Any attempt whatsoever to circumvent this sub-clause 2.2 will result in all prizes purportedly claimed by those involved being declared null and void and no prize will be issued.
2.3. The promotion is open to both Gradwell customers and non-Gradwell customers, subject to 2.4 below.
2.4. The promotion is not open to Gradwell staff or their immediate families.
2.5. To enter the promotion, codes must be redeemed at www.gradwell.com/12days. This requires the input of the entrant’s full name, a valid email address and whether they wish to opt-in to the Gradwell monthly newsletter (eNews) and whether they accept these terms and conditions. Entrants will then be contacted as per clause 3.3.
2.6. Gradwell will determine the winners by selecting the first entrant who successfully enters the valid code for each prize. Entrants will be notified whether they are the first entrant at point of code submission.
2.7. Gradwell cannot guarantee that the systems used by entrants to enter the promotion will be available at all times and no guarantee whatsoever is given in that regard. Any entries that cannot be submitted for technical reasons either on the part of the entrant or Gradwell, will not be counted and Gradwell assumes no responsibility in notifying the entrant of a failed entry.
3.1. The promotion will run from 12:00 GMT Monday 13th December to 11:59 GMT Saturday December 25th 2010 and codes can only be redeemed during this period.
3.2. Each day of the promotion at 12:00 GMT, 4 festive icons will appear on pages somewhere on Gradwell.com. These represent the 4 prizes available each day.
3.3. Entrants who successfully redeem codeswill be contacted from Tuesday 4th January 2011 for relevant details to apply/deliver prizes. It may take up to 10 working days from this date for all winners to be contacted.
4.1. Festive icons and their codes will be found on pages available from Gradwell.com
4.2. There will be a total of 4 prizes per day, excluding twitter prizes as per 4.5.1 below.
4.3. Each festive icon found has a specific code that corresponds to a prize on the list at 4.5 below.
4.4. Each code may only be redeemed once.
4.5. There are a total of 48 spot prizes, each with a code allocated for their redemption:
- 10x Pens
- 10x Mugs
- 5x 2GB USB Sticks
- 5x Gradwell mobile SIM cards
- 3x £10 credit
- 3x £20 credit
- 3x 3 months Unlimited UK landlines calls*
- 3x Domain and 12 month’s hosting
- 3x Gold phone number
- 3x Silver phone number
4.5.1. An additional 12 "secret" prizes will be distributed via. the Gradwell twitter account (http://www.twitter.com/GradwellTweets) throughout the period specified in sub-clause 3.1 above
4.5.2. Credits (£10 and £20) must be applied to a pre-existing or new Gradwell VoIP account.
4.5.3. 3 months Unlimited (subject to Fair Use Policy) UK landline VoIP calls prizes must be applied to a pre-existing or new Gradwell VoIP account.
4.5.4. Gold and Silver phone numbers must be redeemed against an existing or new Gradwell VoIP account.
4.5.5. Unless cancelled prior, when the monthly domain hosting services comes to an end, the winner will then commit to a one-month rolling contract, subject to the relevant fees and charges.
4.5.6. Domains registered can be from either .com, .net, .org, .co.uk and will be registered for the minimum time available (e.g. 1 year for .com, 2 years for .co.uk).
4.6. There are a total of 3 grand prizes:
- 1x Nokia E63 and 12 month’s Gradwell mobile (excluding calls)
- 1x 3G dongle and 12 month’s Gradwell mobile (data only)
- 1x SIM card and 3 month’s Gradwell mobile (excluding calls)
These three prizes will be awarded by a random prize draw out of every person who attempts to redeem a code and provides a valid email address, whether their entry successfully redeems a spot prize or not.
4.6.1. The above three prizes do not include calls or data charges, save for the 3G dongle prize, which includes 1GB of mobile date per month. Full details of the charges for Gradwell mobile services and terms and conditions governing their use, maybe found here and here.
4.6.2. After the monthly service prize comes to an end, winners can keep possession of the hardware prize (handset, dongle and/or SIM card).
4.6.3. Unless cancelled in writing or by email at some point during the subsistence of the one month service prize,the winner of such a prize will be deemed to have committed to a rolling one-month contract, subject to the relevant fees and charges. 4.7. Prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. Gradwell may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes for alternate prizes of an equivalent value. For the avoidance of doubt, no prize may be exchanged, refunded or passed on to someone else.
4.8. If details, requested by Gradwell pursuant to sub-clause 3.2, are not provided within 20 working days of Gradwell providing notification to the entrant that they have won a prize, the prize ceases to be valid and no replacement of any kind will be offered.
4.9. Prizes will be dispatched by Gradwell's courier partners, Royal Mail or TNT. Gradwell assumes no responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit, but we will attempt to rectify the situation where possible with our courier partners on notification of a lost or damaged delivery.
5.1. Gradwell’s decision is final in every respect concerning the promotion including, but not limited to, the provisions set out in these terms and conditions.
5.2. Gradwell reserves the right to terminate this promotion at any point, without notice.
5.3. Gradwell reserves the right to disqualify any individual who engages or attempts to engage in unauthorised interference with the entry process as well as to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition at any stage.
5.4. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The promoter of this competition is Gradwell Dot Com Limited of 26 Cheltenham Street, Bath, BA2 3EX and registered with Company Number 3673235.
5.5. Gradwell will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation without your permission, save for what is necessary for the express purpose of running the competition in question.
